The short answer
Yes, Viking Repair Experts repairs Viking, Sub-Zero, Wolf and Thermador appliances in southern San Mateo County. We serve communities including Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside, Portola Valley and East Palo Alto. We test the appliance to find the cause and explain the repair before any work begins.
Viking Repair Experts travels from our base in San Jose to homes across southern San Mateo County, about 24 miles up the Peninsula. We focus on premium kitchen appliances. That starts with Viking ranges, cooktops, ovens and refrigerators, and it also includes Sub-Zero refrigeration, Wolf cooking equipment and Thermador appliances. We are an independent repair company, not affiliated with any manufacturer. Our job is to find out what is wrong, explain it clearly, and fix it properly.

Appliances and Problems We Handle
Premium appliances are built differently from standard models, and they fail in their own ways. These are the problems we see most often:
If your problem isn't on this list, describe it when you contact us. We'll tell you whether it's something we handle.
- Viking ranges and cooktops with burners that won't light, click continuously, or burn unevenly
- Viking and Wolf ovens that won't reach temperature, lose heat, or show error codes
- Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers that run warm, frost up, leak, or cycle constantly
- Thermador cooktops, wall ovens and dishwashers with ignition, control or drainage issues
- Ice makers, door gaskets, fans and control boards across all four brands
How a Repair Visit Works
A technician starts by asking what you've noticed, such as sounds, smells, error codes, and when the problem started. Then we test the appliance instead of guessing. Once we know the cause, we explain the repair and the parts it needs before any work begins.
Many repairs are finished in one visit. If a specific part has to be ordered, we tell you what's on order and schedule a return trip to install it.
Tell us what your appliance is doing.
Repair or Replace?
Built-in refrigerators and professional-style ranges are major investments, and they are often worth repairing. A failed igniter, thermostat or fan motor is usually a straightforward fix. Sometimes a repair doesn't make sense, for example when several major components are failing at once. In that case we'll say so, and you can decide with the full picture.
Before your visit, it helps to have the model and serial number ready. They are usually printed on a tag inside the refrigerator compartment, inside the door frame, or behind a lower kick panel.
